Check the current conversion options
Use only hardware options actually offered by the current app for the selected output. Availability depends on the encoder, GPU and installed driver; the older CUDA/DXVA page title is not a guarantee of that former implementation.
Test a short local conversion
Compare a short output with the original and review any reported error. Use an available software option if the hardware path is unsupported.
Keep source downloads separate
Available download quality depends on the source formats and access conditions. Hardware conversion options do not create a higher-quality source or bypass access restrictions.
